'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane reduces on Premier League return

Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The star striker is currently midway through the four-year agreement he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has netted an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German team, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the first major trophy of his illustrious career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would like to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider extending his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be willing to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had asked me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."

Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a honor had eluded him until he won the German title last season.

Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
